Enjoy Korean Culture in Sendai this Weekend!

Did you know that Sendai and South Korea's metropolitan city Gwangju are sister cities? This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Sendai-Gwangju deep relationship. In commemoration, the "Japan-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival" will be held on October 22 and 23 at Kotodai Park! Come check out a wide variety of performances, participate in raffles and discover the many stalls set up in the area (some of which are well known Korean restaurants in Sendai!). At the venue, traditional Korean dress rentals will also be available, notably chima jeogori (an outfit consisting of a chima skirt and a jeogori top).
