Discover, learn, and connect with the heart and soul of Japan's crafts-people. The Sendai Mori-no-miyako Craft Fair brings creator and consumer closer together by giving them the opportunity to interact with one another in the heart of Sendai. Ordinary people can meet the artists behind charming handmade items, some of which they might use daily without much thought given to how they're actually made. Through the theme "Learn to Create," this year's craft fair features over 70 professional artists and crafters from around the country, eager to share their creations with you. Let your eyes wonder around the breathtaking displays showcasing the astounding skill and technique unique to each art form, including ceramics, glass, woodwork, metalwork, wool, paper, leather, and so much more.
