Yuzuru Hanyu is a Sendai born legendary competetive figure skater with incredible achievements under his belt. He is a two-time Olympic champion, a two-time World champion, a four-time Grand Prix Final champion, a Four Continents champion, the 2010 World Junior champion, the 2009–10 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and a six-time Japanese national champion!
This exhibition traces Yuzuru's progress as an athlete and performer all the way through to the 2021-22 season, which is when he attempted the unprecedented quad axel (quadruple-axel jump). Come check out the panels of news photos taken by the Yomiuri Shimbun, as well as the costumes, medals, and other items worn by Yuzuru Hanyu during his competitions!
