Yosakoi is a Japanese dance style that incorporates traditional Japanese and modern dance elements. Sendai’s Michinoku Yosakoi Festival is the 3rd-largest in Japan, with 103 teams from all around the country performing energetic and powerful dances.
This lively festival is guaranteed to be a great experience for spectators and performers alike. Not only does it showcase Tohoku’s modern identity, but the also the regional spirit of people from all around the country.
